First Click

Well here it is, my first photography post.  I am uber excited and can not wait to get this going.  I have recently developed a love for all things photography, and I have started to take some of my own pictures.  I am learning how to use different programs to edit them and testing out different things to see what they do.  These are a few of my first attempts.

George Washington Mural 5x7 Photo
This is a photo of mural near my house.  I am from a great city and we pride ourselves on being "An All American City"  Whatever that means.  We just have a lot of working class people and most of them are great!

Surreal Bench 5x7 Photo
This is a photo of a bench in a park near our house.  I have a dog so she loves to come here and play around, and i love following her around trying to take pictures.

Metal Bridge 5x7 Photo
This is a bridge for our many trains that go through the city.  I actually love the sound of trains, I love hearing them go by in the night when the rest of the city is quiet.

Female Statue with Pink Sky 5x7 Photo
This is a statue in Worcester Common.  Of course I do know remember the name, but I love walking under her everyday.  I love her stance and the way she looks like she is going to lead her army into battle.  I made the sky behind her a pinkish red tone because I pictured her in battle.

Surreal Abandoned House
This is an abandoned building that I came across the other day.  I love the way these buildings look when you mess with the colors.  It makes me think of an alternate universe where everything is the same except the colors!

Beagle by the Fence 5x7 Photograph
This is a side view of my beagle Mary.  She is my walking buddy and she helps me find new places to go in the city.  This was taken while resting outside of your local library.

Beagle in Grass 8x10 Photo
And this final photo is of Mary again, I can not get over her face in this one.  She was exhausted from a long walk and just decided to plop down in the first patch of grass she saw.  I'm lucky I was able to get her home.
